2 3 4 5=80

okay, there's this problem on my math hw, it looks like this:

2 3 4 5=80

There are spaces because we need to put the 'operation' in (+, -. x, /) and I just wanna know if it's possible..because I asked my mom and even she can't work it out and she's brilliant at maths. Rules of the problem: You are not allowed to add any numbers or swap them round.

Can we put in brackets?

Can we do something like this:

23+45?

...and it is actually impossible, I think.

I think it is impossible too.
But I'll try to figure it out.

I asked my dad.
He said the closest you can get is 70.

2x(3+4)x5=70

Maybe you got the question wrong.

same. um no worries guys, I'll lock this...my teacher said it was a typo...though one of my friends said that his brother worked it out but forgot the answer..
